The world, our market

Being a modern world-class company means facing the global market with the certainty of being able to provide quality, expertise and innovation even to the most demanding customers. This is why, day after day, Daldoss has built a network of partners and professional partnerships with two specific objectives: on the one hand, to favour the visibility and image of the corporate brand and, on the other hand, to promote product sales both in Italy and abroad. That’s why today, more than ever, thanks to its new “market vision” Daldoss is able to establish itself all over the world.

ORIGINs: Loads with long-standing experience

Officine Meccaniche Daldoss was set up in 1945 at the end of World War II. In little time, its products turned the small workshop into a competitive company capable of securing a leading position on the lift and freight lift market. At the beginning of the 1960s, the firm’s constant focus on technological and product innovation led to the idea of developing a small, highly-industrialised freight lift. On the occasion of the 15th International Invention Exhibition in 1966 in Brussels, Corrado Daldoss was awarded with the golden medal for the first freight lift with electronic control, Microlift. It immediately became commercial success.

From a small workshop to a world-class company

Daldoss Elevetronic S.p.A was established in 1970, which was also when the 1000th Microlift was manufactured. The reputation for being a competent, leading-edge manufacturer crossed European borders and the company gradually started exporting overseas: the Italian brand reached Australia, Singapore, the US and South Africa. In the Nineties the company was a pioneer of the concept of quality and was the first Italian lift company to be given the ISO 9001 Quality Certification. The four product ranges that today represent the core of Daldoss’ product offer – Microfreight, the industrial freight lift, Easylife, the compact lift and Level, the residential platform lift – established themselves on the market and joined Microlift. In the years 2000 the production strategy was converted to Lean Manufacturing and the product range was revamped with an extension of the Level and Microfreight ranges and the addition of EasyGo, the new MRL lift. Daldoss is the solution that ensures quality, experience and a highly innovative insight for architects and designers, building professionals, private owners and lift companies.

Daldoss Academy

The training and specialisation of our employees and partners is fundamental to offer our Customers a top-class performance. We strongly believe in working as a team with our partners at all levels and we intend to provide them the highest added value to increasingly appreciate and learn more about our products, our technology and our experience.
Along with its highly specialised in-house personnel, Daldoss has a leading-edge facility to provide a comprehensive service, with a room for events and meetings with employees and Customers and a show room for training purposes and get a first-hand impression of our products.

The Daldoss and environment

Daldoss always stood out for its special focus on environmental issues and by pursuing this sustainability project, it installed two photovoltaic systems that cover 3500 sq m on top of the plant’s facilities, i.e. 2191 panels. It is the largest private photovoltaic system in the Trentino region.
The system’s overall output will be 500,000 kWh and it will be able to meet more than 60% of our electricity demand. Each kWh of clean energy generated will save about 250 grams of fuel oil, preventing 700 grams of CO2 (responsible for the greenhouse effect) and other harmful gases (nitrogen oxides, sulphurous anhydride and fine particulate matter) from being released into the atmosphere, thereby contributing to comply with the commitments required by the Kyoto protocol.

Understanding demands to meet needs

The painstaking search for quality, studies focused on cuttingedge technological solutions, the utmost care for safety are the values that have been driving Daldoss’ industrial philosophy for over 65 years. Now, more than ever, the critical success factors of a company are associated with the ability to understand market needs and develop effective solutions in terms of quality and customisation of the products offered. With this expertise we are able to design and produce a range of products in line with our customers’ needs and with our vision by following topquality manufacturing standards.

The Daldoss Museum

The values and spirit of dedication that Corrado Daldoss was able to pass over to all the people who worked with him for a number of years have remained unchanged over time: an original, inventive, proactive approach and perseverance for doing things well. Not abstract ideals, but tangible principles that right from the beginning generated ideas and stimulated people, as well as creating resources and opportunities. This small historical museum was created to keep a record of these events and bear in mind the values and milestones that marked the company’s history. From the first machines that were produced to the creation of the plant, to moments in the firm’s life, the museum contains objects and images that represent more than 65 years of corporate life. Thanks to innovation, creativity and especially its commitment, today Daldoss Elevetronic has become a strong and well-established company able to create products increasingly focused on the needs of all its markets, both in Italy and abroad.

With the project “Microlift Evolution” we’ve decided to completely review and redesign the small cargo lift, from the power unit to the structure and components, up until including communication protocols capable to interact with other modern technologies providing new features and operations that are unique for this category of equipment. This recent project allowed us to develop new technical and technological knowledge that could apply – albeit in a different scale – also to other elevator equipment.
The choice of new technologies directed to improve the environmental aspects and energetic consumption both in our products and as well as in our working environment, are concept by now inherent to our way of thinking and designing.
The strong will of our shareholders to provide a new boost to the company trademark is realized through the “daldoss design”, our laboratory of ideas that groups and protects all those innovative projects developed by the R&D team of the company.

Design and manufacturing

Daldoss designs and manufactures the best possible freight and passenger vertical transport solutions, which stem from its strong focus on teamwork, being well organized and people’s consolidated experience. The job of our Engineering department is to turn the needs expressed by the market and our customers into functional features. Using cutting-edge design technologies and top organisational and management methods, our Engineering department aims at providing extremely bespoke products and services, because every Daldoss customer is a special customer.
